Well, I have two 5 gallons going and 3 gallons of wine going. . . You like the same dark beer as I do!! I don’t like budweiser or really any light beer since I’ve brewed my own! Unless they do have a 10% achly level.

Hey, I took similar ‘beer mashers’ to Texas Motor Speedway to hold my cans of brew when I was there for the Texas 500 a few years back! Wow! I didn’t know you knew how to brew beer! That’s cool. I could learn something from you. I should teach everyone about how to establish and maintain a marine aquarium. The chemistry is similar.
Just kidding.

agreed, good luck, Id like to know if it goes well, Im scared to make a lager without a controlled fermenting environment.

yes true, but I have a garage that stays in the 40-50 range as it gets colder and is very stable. Also have used ice inside that worked very well. Its a bit more work but the results were worth it.

remember the temp range for fermentoing a lager dude, if you go beyond the 68-70 degree range it skunks and the yeast doesnt react. I stay away from lagers until I can afford a chilling frige. Good luck tho, Im adding coffee to this batch, I hope to make a true “buzz” beer.

sweet, I got a pale ale done, and I want to start working on some lagers now that its getting cold! mmmmm
July 29th, 2010 at 4:44 pm
Do try it, its great. What I have found is that I enjoy other people drinking my beer. All Natural, no gypsum or adjuncts to it, just grain, hops and water with yeast, great stuff, tastes great and gives a heck of a buzz.

Made some moonshine grape wine the year before. (got a big grape hedge back at the folks place. ) Kicked the living shit out of everyone, but it tasted great. Its always better when you brew it yourself. Im gonna have to try my hand at beer over winter break this year.

haha, still, if I’m gonna go though the process, I think id make some of that Slivovitz that the Serbs where always brewing back when I was in Bosnia. No QRF duty today? Lets hit up Republika Srpska and drink hooch out of a still made from a bathtube, a furnace and what used to be a BMP-1. lol Good vid lewis, Gonna have to brew some myself.
